What you need
1. Brown fimo clay (soft or classic)
2. yellow fimo polymer clay
3. Green Fimo polymer clay
4. head pins
5. eye screw
6. super glue
7. ball chain necklace
8. tan acrylic paint
(brown clay) stem
Start off by making 4 balls one for the stem of the ward, wings, and crystal
I make them about 1 inch in size
roll out the brown clay into a cylinder
cut your head pins in half, put into the top and side of the brown clay.
Next (Wings) yellow clay
the wings are the hardest part and took me the longest to figure out
what i do is make a upside down crown and work it from there ( see pictures)
using my razor blade to clean it up and give it, its final shape.
(repeat for both wings)
make a small pancake out of the yellow clay that will be come the base for the crystal.
put this tiny "pancake" on the top of the metal head pin that is in the brown clay.
Next Green Clay (crystal)
take your green clay and make a rough triangle shape
take your razor blade and "facet" the clay ( you can skip this part and just make it like a triangle)
this takes practice, but i prefer the look of it.
Once you finished that take a eye screw, and put it in the top of the crystal
put everything to together very carefully, try not to use to much pressure on the stem of the ward.
I bake at 270 for 25 mins in a normal oven.
once you charm is baked, toss it into ice cold water, this process makes the charm stronger.
Once its dyed off and cooled, PAINT!
I usually add super glue to the eye screw and wings they should come off easily so you can add some glue there.
** You do not have to do everything the same! this is just the way I make them, if you want to try different things go for it!
also if you make one using my tutorial I would love to see
